Supplies needed:

                       Chenille needle #24

                       Paper and fabric scissors

                       Pins

                       Pin back

                       Pellon Stitch n Tear Heavy Weight Interfacing 5 X 4 ½ inches

                       DMC # 8 green, 2 other colors to match wool

                       Felted Wool:

                                     Green  5 X 4 ½ inches

                                     Yellow  1 ½ X 1 ½ inches

                                      2^nd color  2 X 2 inches

                                      Flower color 3 X 3 inches

Directions

• Cut 2 green leaves
• Cut 1 yellow circle (penny A)
• Cut 1 penny B your choice of color
• Cut 1 flower
• Cut 2 Pellon Stitch n Tear Heavy Weight Leaves (trace pattern of leaf on Pellon and cut approx. ¼ inch smaller all the way around
• Blanket stitch using DMC #8  color of your choice (should compliment color selections) penny A to large penny B
• Blanket stitch penny unit to flower shape
• Attach flower to the center of the leaf and 2 layers of Pellon interfacing using small stitches going over the blanket stitches so the stitches will not show.
• Place second wool leaf on the back of the pin, blanket stitch the 2 wool leaves together to finish the back of the pin.
• Stitch pin back securely to leaf.
