Jerry
Wax, a native of Oxford, Maine, has been sewing and
active in needle crafts as long as she can remember. The
Oxford Mill End Store is the source of friends who
encouraged her to develop the Maine-made line of Perkins
Cove Designs patterns. The local Robinson Manufacturing
Co. produced wool from the Civil War through 2003,
including the coat weight wool used in her penny rugs.
Having lived in Virginia, Connecticut, and now happily
home in Maine, Jerry is formerly a member of the Smocking
Guild and Sewing Guild. She lives with her husband, two
teenage children, and black lab, Belle in Oxford.
